Our mentorship programs

The power of evolving.

Support from someone experienced can make all the difference in the professional integration and career progression of a young professional or newcomer.

The privileged relationship with a mentor builds confidence and contributes to the development of several professional skills.  Participants can benefit from a listening ear, advice, inspiration, encouragement and support at key steps of their career path.

The service is free and reserved for members of PMI-Montréal. Three programs are available.

Professional program

This program is designed for project management professionals working full-time in the field who need the short-term support of someone more senior. Mentees have the possibility of engaging with their mentor for a few months in order to reach specific personal and professional goals.

Next registration period: August - October 2021. Start of the program: October 25, 2021.

Newcomer program

Have you been living in Canada for 5 years or less and you have experience in project management gained abroad? The aim of the newcomer program is to familiarize you with the project management job market in Québec, support you in your search for contracts, and promote your career progression. To be eligible, you must be looking for a job in project management in Québec and have previously worked in project management or have a certification/degree in the field.

Next registration period: August-October 2021. Start of the program: October 25, 2021.

Academic program

Are you a student enrolled in a project management program and starting an internship soon? Would you like to talk to a pro in the field? The academic program provides you with the opportunity to talk to a project management professional who has several years of experience.

You should have at least 10 years experience in a project management role.
