Biography
Nancy Laramée, M.Eng., has been Director of Partnerships at IVADO since October 2018. With over 25 years of experience in data valorization and digital transformation, she is a key player in organizational transformation through AI. She leads a multidisciplinary team that orchestrates large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development (R&D) initiatives.
These projects align with IVADO’s mission to structure investment, industrialize knowledge, and develop sustainable capabilities for industry and public organizations, while advancing talent development and academic research. In recent years, IVADO has mobilized more than 390 projects and secured tens of millions of dollars in public funding. A recognized leader passionate about value creation and innovation, Ms. Laramée also serves on the Board of Directors of ADRIQ.
Workshop Description
Québec is now an academic powerhouse in artificial intelligence, rich in expertise and cutting-edge infrastructure across several universities and research centers. For this strength to translate into sustainable value, it must be effectively orchestrated.
This is precisely IVADO’s role: connecting universities, industry, and public organizations to reduce technological risk, structure investment, maximize public funding leverage, and industrialize knowledge. Drawing on collaborations that have generated 391 projects, mobilized $45.7M, and produced a fivefold economic impact over the past three years, Nancy Laramée will present how to transform an AI project into tangible results while building sustainable internal capabilities.
