Biography
Safa Amara brings over 13 years of experience in managing complex projects, portfolio governance, organizational transformation, and large-scale digital tool implementation.
At the City of Laval, she led the corporate-wide deployment of a project and portfolio management platform—a major initiative involving multiple departments, senior leadership, and multidisciplinary teams. She also contributed to establishing a project governance framework inspired by PMI best practices and led several initiatives related to governance, process optimization, portfolio management, and performance reporting.
An engineer by training, holding an MBA and multiple certifications, she is recognized for her rigorous, strategic, and results-oriented approach.
Workshop Description
Digital transformation does not begin with technology. It starts with a clear strategic vision, solid processes, and rigorous governance. Too often, organizations invest quickly in tools without first establishing the essential conditions for success: stakeholder alignment, process maturity, data quality, and effective change management.
This workshop offers a structured perspective on the key success drivers of large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Through concrete principles, proven methods, and real-world experience, Safa Amara demonstrates how strong governance and team mobilization can turn the implementation of a technological tool into a true lever for organizational performance—rather than merely a technical deployment.
