Eligibility
The PgMP® certification is designed for accomplished professionals who want to demonstrate their high level of expertise.
To be eligible for the exam, you must meet one of the two following requirements:
1. High school diploma (DES), the CAPM® certification or global equivalent, 6,000 hours of experience in project management, and 10,500 hours of experience in program management.
2. Four-year degree, 6,000 hours of experience in project management, and 6,000 hours of experience in program management.
The exam is held in a Pearson Vue centre in your area.
The cost of the exam is US$800 for members and US$1,000 for non-members.

Maintaining your certification.
People with this designation must accumulate 60 professional development units (PDUs) in the specialized filed of program management every three years in order to maintain their credential. It is not mandatory to be a member of PMI Global or PMI-Montréal to do so. Consult the video on professional development units or the PgMP® handbook for more details.
