PMI-Montreal is proud to participate in mentoring new immigrants.

The program is aimed at new immigrants (less than 5 years in Canada) who have already worked in project management in their homeland. The program offers supervision focused on the mentoring relationship and case studies, as well as lectures that encourage integration. It’s important to note that PMI-Montreal is not responsible for finding work for the mentees.

The program is offered twice a year, for a length of four months. Semesters start in October and in February. It’s important to note that PMI-Montreal is not responsible for finding work for the mentees.

New immigrants, your integration in the Quebec workforce will be made that much easier. Mentors, here is a great opportunity to share your experience!

MENTORS, CREATE OPPORTUNITIES!

Beyond sharing the know-how and experience that will allow you to actively contribute to your peers’ growth, you’ll find a relationship with a mentor to be the perfect opportunity to discuss about issues in project management while benefitting from a new outlook.

MENTEES, SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITY!

Having a mentor can accelerate your professional progress and contribute in quickly developping your personal and interpersonal skills. If you’re keen on perfecting your knowledge, you’ll find advice, listening and support necessary to the development of your career.

Based on trust and on personalisation of relationships according to each one’s objectives, mentorship helps evolve one’s perceptions and open up to new perspectives.

PMI-Montreal provides follow-ups and reference documents on themes appropriate to the mentoring relationship. Meetings are also held to discuss respective experiences of participants and to contribute to continually improving the program.
