Conference Description
The management of major projects inevitably involves scrutiny, complex challenges, and high expectations regarding performance and societal impact. Beyond methods and tools, the success of these projects depends on strong organizational capabilities capable of sustaining long-term value creation and distribution.
This conference offers a structured reflection on the key organizational practices required to generate value in major projects, drawing on concrete examples from projects carried out in Québec. The speakers will present five interconnected and interdependent pillars of practice—strategic, structural, procedural, technological, and relational—which form the foundation of sustainable performance.
Through this integrated approach, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how developing organizational capabilities fosters a value-oriented culture, both at the project and organizational levels.
Objectives
By the end of this conference, participants will be able to:
-
Identify the essential organizational capabilities required for managing major projects
-
Understand the underlying principles of value creation and distribution
-
Apply these practices within their own organizations
-
Contribute to the development of an organizational culture focused on value creation
