Description

The speaker presents the landmark decisions in 2015 regarding construction law on matters such as tendering, legal construction hypothec, claims for delays, for deficiencies, etc.

Speaker : Annie Bernard: Her practice focuses on a broad range of complex cases, particularly in the sectors of construction and class actions. Its customers, who come from almost all sectors of the construction industry and include owners, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers turn to it in relation to funding issues, defects construction, project management, professional liability and breach of contract.
She has also developed expertise on issues related to the legal hypothec of construction, tenders, as well as with respect to the conditions for granting license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec. In addition, his practice includes the preparation and review of contractual documentation, including the types of CCDC contracts, as well as issues relating to security and co-ownership.

Madame Bernard has acted as a defense in several class actions and currently operates as part of a class action arising from the 1998 ice storm.
