Description

One of the fundamental rules of LEAN philosophy is that an organisational culture, espousing the LEAN mindset and values, will emerge only if we use the same mindset and values to transform the organisation. This conference will present ten value losses linked to poor project management performance, the main rules to follow to manage projects the «LEAN way», as well as eight ingredients essential to a successful organisational change towards being more lean and agile. The speaker will explain the «natural phenomenon of emergence» that accompanies successful organisational change projects, as well as what it implies for the development and the deployment by emergence of the realisation plans for this type of projects. The elements presented are a synthesis of the key success factors of the Changeboxing methodology, which helped many organisations to initiate and ease their transition towards a leaner and more agile culture as well as the maximisation of sustainable project benefits, Namely: the Ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l'Exportation (MDEIE), the ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles (MICC), the Société de transport de Montréal (STM), the Société de transport de Laval (STL) and  Aéroports de Montréal.
