Description

The Canadian Space Agency has been undergoing significant changes in its governance and project management practices over the past few years as it implements the Treasury Board Policy on the Management of Projects.  Come learn about these developments and how the EPMO is accompanying space and non-space project teams in the transition.  Topics will include the Agency’s Organizational Project Management Capacity Assessment rating, Investment Governance and Monitoring Framework, gate approval process, role of steering committees, sector initiatives, project dashboard reporting, and the Project Management Community of Practice.
 
Speaker : Mario Ciaramicoli, ing., M.Sc., PMP, 

Mario Ciaramicoli is a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).  As a Project Management Analyst, he is implementing tools and processes for efficient and lean project governance, and accompanies project managers working on a large variety of exciting projects to ensure their success.

Previously, Mario served as a CSA Mission Planner, Operations Engineer, Crew Robotics Instructor, and Systems Engineer in support of the Mobile Servicing System (MSS) on the ISS, leading software and mission readiness activities, as well as on-orbit anomaly investigation and recovery efforts.

Mario holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, as well as a Master’s of Space Studies from the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg, France.  He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a registered engineer with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Quebec (OIQ).

Substitution of a participant is not permitted except for group registrations.

Cancellation
PMI-Montreal reserves the right to cancel a training program in the event of insufficient registrations. In this case, the full registration fee will be refunded.
