Description

Of course, a lot of decisions that affect projects are taken outside the scope of the projects themselves –  like the ones that stem from their purpose, the ROI or their relevance to the strategic plan. But still, one must wonder, what are the forces that come in play when decisions are taken (sometimes even unconsciously) outside of the normal decision-making path of the project?  We will explore the possibility that a sense of security about speaking our mind might be more important in making a decision than the set of rules that define how to make it.

Speaker : Louis-Charles Gauthier has over 15 years of business analysis experience. He graduated with a Masters in French Literature from Montreal University then turned to Information Technologies. Since then, he earned a Business Analysis Certificate from McMaster University, and has obtained, PMP, PMI-PBA and CBAP certifications.

Besides working as a business analyst and project manager in many different organizations, he has been involved with the business analysis community groups.  Lately, he has concentrated his efforts on giving training for business analysts and project managers and speaking at different conventions.  His more recent activity has given him the opportunity to discuss business analysis issues with a great deal of people and allowed him to gain his unique insight on projects.
