Description

The industry is characterized by product security where stringent certification requirements force builders into long lead time approval of engineering and quality assurance processes by aeronautic authorities. Developing a new plane spans over many years and requires project management efforts that are constrained by existing processes. Customer requirements defined early in the project can often get challenged by potential buyers and market condition changes. In this conference, André Blanchet introduces customer requirement management issues in managing a new plane development project.

Speaker : André Blanchet has more than 25 years old of experience in the aircraft industry, among which 10 years to an airline company in Brazil ( VARIG) and 15 years to Bomber. He participated actively in the introduction of planes Boeing in the fleet of VARIG as well as in the development of the new planes at Bombardier (Global 5000, CRJ-1000 and C Series).
