Startup and planning phase, the project manager must consider the issues of integration of existing structures in the project. The network of the Montreal metro, with its many stations showing a rich heritage ("a station, an architect"), is a perfect example of the multiple complexities that this can bring to the project manager.
With concrete examples and filled with creativity our speaker, Mrs Sonia Vibert, will present various facets of interventions that are required when planning the content of the projects to the STM. The project manager will have the opportunity to understand that his role sometimes requires taking imaginative tangents to reach the project success.
Speaker : Sonia Vibert is an architect and major projects manager, Sonia Vibert is director of studies at the Montreal Transit Corporation. She is responsible for the definition of projects, their planning and their administrative approval. He holds a Masters in Built Environment Conservation, she worked for almost 20 years in the field of construction including several years in the public sector as responsible for the Architecture section of the STM and as Project Manager at the Management Office major projects of the City of Montreal. She has at heart the smooth development of the City and is actively involved in the implementation of project management best practices.
