Become a CAPM®

Eligibility

The CAPM® certification is designed for professionals who would like to pursue a career in project management.

To be eligible for the exam, you must have a high school diploma and meet the following requirement:

1. Complete 23 hours of formal project management training. PMI-Montréal offers preparation courses for the CAPM® exam, which allow you to meet this requirement.

The exam is held at a Pearson Vue centre in your area.

The cost of the exam is US$225 for members and US$300 for non-members.

Maintaining your certification.

The certification exam includes 150 questions and you have three hours to complete it.

Candidates who pass the exam before 30 September 2020 will have FIVE years to earn the 15 PDUs and pay the renewal fee.

Candidates who pass the exam after 1 October 2020 will have THREE years to earn the 15 PDUs and pay the renewal fee.
