PMI Mornings - Integrating People Change Management in your Project – story telling – tips and tricks!

OBJECTIVE

Do you like to start your day by developing new knowledge? Drop your newspapers and your news on the internet! The PMI-Montreal offers you the chance to fill up with energy and information during the PMI Matinées.

From 7:00 am, attend a conference or workshop offered by a guest speaker, enjoy a breakfast and have a coffee in our training room. In addition, starting in September 2019, wake-up activities will be organized to help you start your day!

 

DESCRIPTION

Integrating People Change Management in your Project – story telling – tips and tricks!

Even though thousands of companies have heavily invested into Project Management and  Change Management, projects are still plagued with the same issues: missed deadlines, inaccurate planning, overrunning budgets, pre-approved project cancellation, and difficulties recognizing a project’s proposed benefits.

This story-telling interactive workshop will  engage participants to enhance the synergy  and integration between project/change management, reconfirms that the soft part of our job is in fact the hardest side to master

Today, in spite of efforts to implement successful change projects and properly equipped Project Management professionals at the helm, multiple researchers (such as Standish Group and 2D Net) indicate that projects fail more often from lack of effective Change Management than any other single reason. Project teams that ignore Change Management during a project cite this as one of the most important lessons learned  

Poor communication, not understanding or ignoring the impact of change, and lack of leadership and sponsorship lead the majority of global project failure findings.

Target audience

The mornings are open to all project management professionals and all non-certified or non-certified project management professionals who practice project management in their work. The mornings are also intended for members and non-members of the PMI-Montreal and companies and organizations wishing to gain new knowledge in project management.

Tarif: 30 $ pour les membres / 45 $ pour les non-membres. 

 

Refund Policy:

5 working days or more before the training: full refund. The request must be sent by email to rec@pmimontreal.org.
4 working days or less before the training: no refund.

Substitution: The substitution of a participant is not allowed, except for group registrations.

Cancellation: The PMI-Montreal reserves the right to cancel a training if there are insufficient registrations. In this case, the full registration fee will be refunded.

 

Registering PDUs:

PMI-Montreal Members: The PDUs will be automatically registered in your account.
Non-members: You will need to register the PDUs in your account.
1.5 PDU Leadership are awarded for this training.

 

Included: Recording the conference for a period of 30 days

Access to conference registration will be provided free of charge to all participants for a period of 30 days following the event.
