If we look at statistics for the past 20+ years, the average rate of failure for IT projects has not changed and hovers around the 70% range despite the cumulative knowledge gained implementing systems and despite increasing project management maturity within large IT organizations and despite Agile methods practices.
We will explore the common root causes (not just the symptoms) and bring some insights, observations, experiences and lessons learned gathered from the front lines.
