Founded in 1969, PMI is a world-recognized organization in the area of project management R&D. It serves nearly 3 million professionals, including more than 600,000 members in 214 countries.

The PMI-Montréal chapter was founded in 1977 and now brings together the vast majority of project management professionals in Quebec. With more than 5,400 members, the organization has become the 2^nd largest PMI chapter in the world and the largest Francophone chapter.
