Élixir Contest: Pursuing excellence to reinvent the future.

Registration for the 2020 edition is open!

The Élixir Contest is the most prestigious and comprehensive competition presented by PMI-Montréal to honour the best players in the project management industry throughout Québec.

It aims to highlight excellence and recognize the talent, spirit of innovation, expertise, daring, and leadership of professionals, across all sectors of activity. 

Now more than ever, no matter the field, the current events are profoundly transformative and mandate new ways of doing things. Quickly. To be sure, this moment calls for resilience from all, but also vision, creativity, adaptability, and the courage necessary for reinvention.

Project management professionals have an essential role to play to revitalize, structure, and lead these ongoing changes. They are among those who will build the future. 

This is why the 2020 edition is of special significance for many of us. Indeed, it provides an opportunity to get together and celebrate those who passionately embody the ongoing changes.

We strongly encourage organizations, teams, and professionals to compete in the Élixir Contest. This recognition from the industry and your peers is a valuable mark of distinction that showcases your talent. 

Every year, we are astounded by the quality of the submissions received and proud to see the drive of PMI-Montréal managers. This edition will without a doubt be no different.

Applications can be submitted in four categories:   

Professional in Project Management

This category highlights the success of project managers with more than eight years of experience who have distinguished themselves within their organization through their work ethic and leadership of their team. Find out more (in French).

Emerging Professional in Project Management

This category honours project managers with three to eight years of experience who have distinguished themselves through their professionalism and impressive potential. Find out more (in French).

The Best Projects of 2020 

This category rewards projects that have shown innovation in the art of delivering a project or that have created changes that benefit the community. Find out more (in French).

Project of the Year

The culmination of this competition, this award recognizes a high-calibre project that stands out for its exemplary use of best practices in project management, from its inception all the way to its completion.  Find out more.
