The partnership is built on IVADO’s scientific and pedagogical contribution, supporting the creation and enhancement of the complementary training material deeloped by PMI‑Montréal. This collaboration will ensure:

  • Rigorous alignment with the latest advancements in artificial intelligence ;
  • Consistency with global PMI standards ;
  • A practice‑driven approach supported by recognized instructors ;
  • Strong integration with the AI project management community, positioning the certification as a reference in Québec.

Through this alliance, participants will benefit from high‑value knowledge transfer, combining PMI‑Montréal’s field expertise with IVADO’s scientific excellence.

A Shared Vision: Professionalizing AI Project Management

For Catherine Laramée, Executive Director of PMI‑Montréal, this collaboration marks a pivotal milestone:

“The PMI‑CPMAI® certification is a key lever to prepare the next generation of project managers to integrate AI strategically, responsibly, and in alignment with global best practices. By combining the rigor of PMI’s international AI standards with IVADO’s scientific excellence - offered in complement to the official material to enrich the learning experience and anchor the certification in Québec’s practices - we strengthen Québec’s ability to position itself as a leader in AI project management.”

At IVADO, the enthusiasm is equally strong. Réjean Roy, Director of Training and Knowledge Mobilization at IVADO, emphasizes:

“By uniting our scientific expertise with PMI’s structured approach, we are helping build a solid framework for AI adoption in projects. This collaboration will enable organizations to access proven practices adapted to Québec’s reality and to develop the maturity needed to fully leverage the potential of artificial intelligence.”
