Role Summary

Reporting to the Vice-President of Operations, the Project Manager is primary responsible to manage projects from beginning to end involving multiple teams, sites, and subcontractors. The incumbent is responsible for end to end delivery including budget, people, processes, technology and quality. The project manager acts as a proactive transformation agent, constantly improving our implementation methodology.  Projects are mostly in providing premium quality telephone solutions, structured cabling, connectivity and senior living solutions for organizations of all sizes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate and assign project activities, monitor progress, validate and compile results, and provide input into recommendations regarding projects overall readiness;
  • Take projects from original concept through to final implementation as well as manage the handoff to the technical customer support, leading cross-functional multi-disciplined resources through the execution of the plans to deliver projects that meet customer expectations (time, budget, scope and quality);
  • Remove obstacles and resolves conflicting issues mitigating risk, cross project impacts, resources capacity and ensure overall business readiness;
  • Create and manage project plans and related documentation in accordance with established project management methodology (Scope, WBS, Budget, Action Registers, etc.);
  • Collect, analyze and document all stakeholders’ needs and requirements, defining the workflows, business and technical requirements;
  • Contribute, as a key member of the PMO group, to the process improvement, tools, methodologies while continuously seeking performance and working in close collaboration with all the departments of the company;
  • Contribute to organization change management and processes.
  • Travelling required, Nationwide, sporadic, on demand.

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and PMP certification;
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in project management field;
  • Business Analyst experience is a plus;
  • Previous experience in Telecom industry;
  • Result oriented, getting-things-done work attitude;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to be highly creative in formulating solutions;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills;
  • Constant focus on ensuring quality internal and external customer service;
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and of project management tools & methodology;
