The Banking Project Management Department is looking for a project leader to manage a major Agile program as part of Desjardins Group's digital transformation. Are you a seasoned project leader with an agile posture that allows you to work with multidisciplinary teams, and are you skilled at manoeuvring in all areas of the organization at all levels? If so, this challenge is for you!

As a project leader, you help direct resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget. You analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams.

You organize, manage and control the human, material, financial and IT resources needed to deliver very large-scale, innovative projects involving multiple sectors. You draw on your planning and coordination skills to execute the project plan and serve as point person for the project sponsor, managers and other contributors involved in project delivery. You draw on your drive for results and ability to engage others to effectively manage teams and help the organization achieve its objectives.

You are responsible for strategic projects that are organizationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of work. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields.

You lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • PMP, ACP and/or SAFe certifications (an asset)
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
