Description

During the COVID-19 pandemic, implementing a Pulp Mill posed unique challenges, requiring meticulous risk management to ensure adherence to budget and schedule with minimal deviations. Strategies focused on diversifying suppliers, implementing health protocols, and leveraging remote work technologies. Contingency plans addressed workforce shortages and supply chain disruptions. Close monitoring of regulatory changes and proactive stakeholder engagement were essential. Through proactive risk management, including robust contingency planning and stakeholder engagement, the project successfully navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic. As a result, it achieved its budget and schedule goals, ensuring the timely delivery of a vital industrial facility amidst unprecedented global disruption.

With over 20 years of experience and an engineering background, I've amassed extensive project management expertise spanning industries such as Pulp and Paper, Mining, Steelmaking, and Environmental sectors. I've held pivotal roles including Project Manager, Planner, and Budget Specialist. Noteworthy positions include Planning Coordinator, where I oversee planning activities, and Risk and Planning Coordinator, focusing on risk management. I've also served as Integration and Report Coordinator for the same project. In previous roles, I managed planning teams for major cellulose mill implementations and supported contract management for a food factory project. Additionally, my experience as a Planning Specialist involved coordinating planning efforts for large-scale projects. From coordinating portfolio management to overseeing project planning, risk management, and contractor supervision, my expertise spans diverse project management facets. I've also facilitated training sessions in project management and cost management techniques.
