Description

As of September 1, PMI-Montreal is reopening its training room for in-person classes to a maximum of 25 people. This number allows the physical distancing recommended by Public Health. You must follow all the hygienic recommendations and ensure of the state of your health before coming. Wearing a mask is required in the building and when walking around. In person participants will also receive webcast links and access to course recordings.

The course is offered as a live broadcast and in person. The videos will be saved as the course progresses and you will have access to these recordings for up to 2 months following the last course (videos expire on February 28th 2021). Each course is composed of 2 modules of 3.5 hours, which include 2.15 hours of expert presentation and 30 minutes for a practice exam on the section covered. The last day is a full 8 hours which includes a full revision and ends with a 100 questions simulation exam as guided corrections.

PMI exam preparation courses are covered under the government of Québec's PACME program and are up to 100% reimbursable.

Exclusions

Membership PMI & PMI-Montreal
Membership to PMI and PMI-Montreal, $129 USD and $30 USD respectively, is not included. You must become a member of both PMI & PMI-Montreal before registering to the preparation course in order to have the rebate apply. Simply go to www.pmi.org and go under ''membership'' and then ''become a member''. Make sure you also select PMI-Montreal before finalizing your transaction.
PMBoK 6th edition
The PMBoK is not included in the price for the course but this document is essential for the preparation course and the exam. We strongly recommend your familiaze yourself withthis book before your course. You do not need to bring it to the course. The downloaded version is free for the member and can be accessed on PMI.org under Library of Global Standards.
PMP exam fees
For those who are taking the PMP exam. Please take note the exam cost is not included in the price of the preparation course. This is an individual process and all applicants must go through the PMI application process. Once accepted you must pay the fees: $405 USD for members, $555 USD for non-members in order to have access to the exam schedule. You will have a full year and 3 attempts to succeed. If you need a second or a third attempt you must pay extra fees : $275US for members, $375US for non-members.
CAPM exam fees
For those who are taking the CAPM exam. Please take note the exam cost is not included in the price of the preparation course. This is an individual process and all applicants must go through the PMI application process. Once accepted you must pay the fees: $225 USD for members, $300 USD for non-members in order to have access to the exam schedule. You will have a full year and 3 attempts to succeed. If you need a second or a third attempt you must pay extra fees : $150US for members, $200US for non-members.

For online participants only

The web connection information will be provided by e-mail within 2 days before your course. The course will be broadcast with Zoom plateforme. Approximately a week before the course, a 2 hours video of the course introduction and the first section on ethics will be uploaded in your PMI-Montreal account under ''my webconference'' section. It is mandatory that all participants view this presentation before the first course. Please address all questions to info@pmimontreal.org

Refund Policy

Online courses in Quebec : no refunds or cancellations 7 working days or less before the first course to allow materials to be sent.

Distance courses outside Quebec : no refunds or cancellations 15 working days before the first course to allow materials to be shipped.

In-person course :

No refunds 7 working days or less before the course.

Substitution
Substitution of a participant is not permitted except for group registrations.

Cancellation
PMI-Montreal reserves the right to cancel a training program in the event of insufficient registrations. In this case, the full registration fee will be refunded.
