Description

If you’re an executive or senior-level practitioner managing a portfolio of projects and programs aligned with organizational strategy and focused on doing the right work, then the PfMP is the right choice for you.

GAIN AND MAINTAIN YOUR PfMP

  • First phase of evaluation is panel review
  • The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have four hours to complete it.
  • To maintain your PfMP, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) in portfolio management topics every three years.

PREREQUISITES

  • All applicants must possess a minimum of 96 months of professional business experience within the last 15 years AND
  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 84 months of portfolio management experience

OR

  • All applicants must possess a minimum of 96 months of professional business experience within the last 15 years AND
  • Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 48 months of portfolio management experience

TRAINING COURSE INFORMATION

Format: In person or online

Language: French

Deadline for registrations: September 4, 2023 at noon. After this date, you must contact us by phone to register.

Course dates: 5-6 September 2023 (UTC-4)

Live Stream Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location: In person or online. Web login with instructions will be provided via email approximately 1 day before your course starts. This course is broadcast on the Zoom platform.

  • Domain 1: Strategic Alignment
  • Domain 2: Governance
  • Domain 3: Portfolio Performance
  • Domain 4: Portfolio Risk Management
  • Domain 5: Communications Management
  • Simulation exam

    Our course material is exclusive to PMI-Montreal A training manual containing all the sections covered and practice exams is included.
  • Manual language
    All training material provided is only available in English.

Exclusions

  • Membership PMI & PMI-Montreal
    Membership to PMI and PMI-Montreal, $129 USD and $35 USD respectively, is not included. You must become a member of both PMI & PMI-Montreal before registering to the preparation course in order to have the rebate apply. Simply go to www.pmi.org and go under ''membership'' and then ''become a member''. Make sure you also select PMI-Montreal before finalizing your transaction.
  • The Standard for Portfolio Management – Third Edition
    The Standard for Portfolio Management book is not included in the price for the course but this document is essential for the preparation course and the exam. You do not need to bring it to the course.   • PfMP exam fees
    For those who are taking the PfMP exam, please take note the exam cost is not included in the price of the preparation course. This is an individual process and all applicants must go through the PMI application process. Once accepted you must pay the fees: $800 USD for members, $1000 USD for non-members in order to have access to the exam schedule. You will have a full year and 3 attempts to succeed. If you need a second or a third attempt you must pay extra fees : $600US for members, $800US for non-members.
