It recognizes your unique expertise and competency in assessing and identifying project risks, mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities, while still possessing a baseline knowledge and practical application in all areas of project management.

This 14-hour course helps prepare participants to successfully pass the PMI-RMP certification exam.

Inclusions

  • PMI-RMP training manual
    The PMI-RMP training manual is included for all participants registered for the course. The manual contains the material that will be covered during the lessons as well as practice questions and simulation exam. *IN PERSON: The training manual will be given to all participants at the start of the first course. *ONLINE: Two weeks before the start of the course, you will receive an email to confirm your mailing address for the delivery of the training manual.
  • Preparation material language
    It is important to note that the training material provided is in English only to facilitate the learning of international project management terminology.

Exclusions

  • PMI and PMI-Montreal Membership
    PMI and PMI-Montreal Membership are at an additional cost of US $ 129 and US $ 30 respectively. To become a member of PMI-Montreal, you must first be a member of PMI. The membership is not required to take the course, but it does allow you to get a member discount when you register for the PMI-RMP preparation course. To become a member, you must apply directly on the PMI.org website under the Membership tab, then Become a member. Make sure you choose the Montreal chapter towards the end of the transaction to become a member of PMI-Montreal as well.
  • The Standard for Risk Management in Portfolios, Programs, and Projects manual
    The Standard for Risk Management in Portfolios, Programs, and Projects manual is not included in the price of the course. It is essential that all participants obtain this manual which is available on the PMI Library of Global Standards website. PMI members can download it for free. We strongly suggest that all participants read the manual before the course, but it is not necessary to have it with you during class.
  • PMI-RMP exam fees
    The exam fees are not included in the course cost. The process of applying for the exam must be done individually through the PMI.org site. The cost of the PMI-RMP exam is US $ 520 for members or US $ 670 for non-members. A participant has three chances to pass the exam during their year of eligibility. The cost for the second and third attempt is US $ 335 for members and US $ 435 for non-members each. The payment of the exam fee is made directly to PMI.org.
