Description

Objective

To develop strategic thinking and inclusive leadership by advocating for innovative practices in planning and execution.

Core Content

In many organizations, project planning is still perceived as an essentially technical exercise: detailed schedules, powerful tools, and proven methodologies. Yet, despite this sophistication, results often fall short of expectations. This keynote proposes a shift in perspective: viewing planning as an act of collective leadership, where the human element plays a central role in aligning strategic vision with execution.

The presentation sets the stage by making a fundamental distinction between strategic planning, which defines the long-term vision and direction, and execution planning, which translates that vision into short- and medium-term objectives, tactics, and actions. These two dimensions, too often confused, serve different but inseparable purposes.

The session explores the planning of complex projects, where technical, human, and organizational constraints require constant alignment between purpose and action.

Special attention is given to the "space" leadership must create to share the vision and enable co-creation: what to avoid, what to promote, and how to establish communication, governance, and leadership practices that foster team ownership of objectives.
