What is the Visées program?

 

PMI-Montréal is proud to announce its accreditation for the Visées program, an initiative led by the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal and the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, funded by Upskill Canada (powered by Palette Skills) and the Government of Canada. Its mission is to support workforce upskilling in high-growth sectors across Quebec.

 

The program allows organizations to:

  • Strengthen the strategic skills of their teams,

  • Access short, targeted training directly applicable in the workplace,

  • Benefit from funding of up to $8,000 per employee for specialized training.

 

This accreditation enables PMI-Montréal to play an active role in skills development, while consolidating our position as a leader in professional training and in supporting talent toward the jobs of the future.

1: Learn more about financial support and how to apply

Funding provided through the program can cover up to $8,000 per employee, including:

  • 50% of the employee’s salary during training time, including in-company implementation (maximum eligible hourly rate: $100/hour),

  • training fees for one or several skills.

There is no limit to the number of employees your organization can train.

Eligibility

  • Your organization must have a Quebec Enterprise Number (NEQ), employ at least one full-time equivalent staff member, and not be a governmental, public, municipal, or educational organization, nor be subject to Law M-30.
  • The participant must be legally authorized to work in Canada, hold a valid work permit, and have at least 3 years of professional experience.
