IT ROUND TABLE BREAKFAST
English
$0.00
$18.00
The idea behind this periodic event is simple: gather about 15 IT project managers around breakfast to discuss what matters to them at that moment: discussion of the current PM environment, sharing of information, and brainstorming of current challenges. The microphone is yours. The day’s agenda is built with the topics brought by the attendees in the first 5-10 minutes of the meeting. Then on with the discussions, with 15 or so of your peers, willing to share advices and thoughts with you. That’s without mentioning the fabulous networking opportunity an intimate setting like that provides.

Rôles, responsabilités et architecture d’applications TI – un intéressant parallèle avec la construction
English
$50.00
$75.00
IT and construction field are two worlds that seem light years from each other. Yet there are similarities between them that are very interesting to examine. This examination leads to the suspicion that the practice of developing IT applications would benefit from inspiration from centuries of experience that have shaped the design and construction of buildings. The presentation will focus specifically on the definition and scope of the main roles involved in the development of applications, and the intrinsic antagonism to those roles. Without making magic recipe for challenges that will be raised, this presentation is intended as, first and foremost, a plea for a sound governance and standardization of practices.
