Audit Committee

Volunteer CPA

  • The audit committee member will participate in the creation of the committe followed by
  • 4 meetings per year
  • financial overseeing of PMI-Montreal with management, external auditor and treasurer

Programming committee

Position: Director morning conferences (season 4)

  • Director of morning conferences is responsible for finding speakers for the lecture series Mornings PMI (4 lectures per season)
  • The director must have a broad network to pick speakers from various domains.
  • Main tasks: contact speakers, propose topics to Committee Member Services, confirm dates of presentation complete with speakers and conference schedule for the season.
     

Position: Director / Director of Midday Conferences in 2015 (4 per season)

  • Finding speakers for the new midday lecture series that will be offered in 2015 
  • The director must have a broad network to pick speakers of various domains.
  • Main tasks: contact speakers, propose topics to Committee Member Services, confirm dates of presentation complete with speakers and conference schedule for the season.
     

Committee - New members and new arrivals Guide (2015)

Positions: Editorial Board

  • The drafting committee is responsible for writing the texts for the new bilingual member guide to be published on the PMI-Montreéal. Clear instructions will be provided on all sections to write.
  • The person must have experience in writing articles, books and other publications.
  • The person must master a higher level of French and / or English (written).
    ** Please specify if you want to write texts in English, French or two languages

Positions: Content Review Committee

  • The review committee is responsible for reviewing all documents provided by the drafting committee in relation to project management and best practice as experience in HR.
  • The person must have more than 5 years experience in project management.
  • The person must master a higher level of French and / or English.

Position: Head of Interviews / Videos (Experience in communication)

  • The interviews manager must have good experience in communication. They will be responsible for conducting video interviews with the people that will be provided by the project committee's Guide - new member.
  • The manager must have experience in videography and editing.
     

2015 Gala Committee

Position: Director / Director of Communications

  • The Director of Communications will be responsible for all communications related to the elixir Gala.
  • The person will be responsible to develop a communication plan to ensure good visibility for this event.
  • This person will meet with the gala committee / twice a month (in writing or in person) to give the status of actions taken.

 

Community of Practice Aerospace

Position: Director and committee members

  • Available to perform volunteer tasks at the rate of approx 10-15 hours per month
  • Must have intimate knowledge of Aerospace industry (product life-cycle, manufacturing, product development)
  • Ideally currently employed in the industry
  • Tasks and responsibilities: Recruit and screen speakers on Aerospace-specific topics and concerns related to project management, Organize regular activities and committee meetings, Manage the volunteer team (only applies to the CdP leader),Solicit aerospace companies for participation in CdP, Ensure a follow up of documentation and information with PMI-Montreal staff.
