Our APPR project management professional at CIUSSS MCQ is results-oriented and self-reliant. He or she has strong change management skills and an innovative spirit. In addition to being customer-oriented, he or she is recognized for his or her ability to popularize concepts and give advice.

 

More specifically, his role consists of :

  • Contribute to the improvement of project management practices, and to the development and application of tools, methodologies and standards of practice;
  • Accompany sponsors and project managers through the various phases of the project life cycle to achieve project results.
  • This support may take the form of consulting or the production of project management deliverables, in close collaboration with the project manager;
  • Managing a project management software package.
  • Contribute to the improvement of project management practice, the development of tools, methodologies and standards of practice and apply them;
  • Accompany sponsors and project managers through the various phases of the project life cycle to achieve project results.
  • This support may take the form of consulting or the realization of project management deliverables in close collaboration with the project manager;
  • Manage and use project management software;Ensure the transfer of project management knowledge in various forms (e.g. training, community of practice);Participate in project meetings and workshops with various players and bodies;
    Contribute to the management of the organizational portfolio and specific project portfolios;
  • Care to maintain the quality, security and confidentiality of data in their work;
  • Integrate risk management into project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline such as business administration AND a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
  • Knowledge of project management and project portfolio management tools and methods.
  • Training in project management and certification (Masters, PMP, etc.) is an asset.
  • Significant experience in project management and project portfolio management.
  • Knowledge of the Lean Healthcare approach (continuous improvement culture).
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint.
