Description

(In French)

This workshop aims to introduce behavioral styles (sociostyles) to help participants better understand themselves and collaborate more effectively in project management. Through collaborative activities (to be defined with the facilitator), participants will explore their natural styles of communication, decision-making, and interpersonal relationships, while learning to recognize and adapt to the styles of others.

The goal is to promote personal awareness and highlight the diversity of operating modes within a project team. No prior preparation is required: the activities are simple, accessible, and suitable for a 5@7 format (to maximize participant attendance). At the end of the workshop, participants will receive a test (DISC-type, to be confirmed) to complete individually to deepen and confirm the self-assessment initiated during the activity. The event focuses on collaboration, openness, and learning through play, in alignment with PMI's human skills.

A word from Karine:
I have never been able to choose between management and teaching. As a Senior Lecturer, I am fortunate enough to balance both worlds.

Passionate about pedagogy, I support my students in developing deeper self-awareness, enabling them to become globally-minded, innovative, and enlightened managers who remain true to their values. I utilize a competency-based approach to foster autonomy and reflective practice. By leveraging experiential and authentic teaching methods, I promote leadership development within project management contexts and assist international students in adapting to their new educational and cultural environments.

During my 10 years as Head of the Preparatory Year, I developed programs designed to support perseverance, success, and well-being through a preventive and collaborative approach involving the entire community. This program-based approach united the teaching team around holistic objectives and innovative pedagogical practices, prioritizing both student achievement and mental health.

Today, I am starting a new chapter as the Lead for Student Intellectual Integrity, continuing my focus on prevention and innovation. It is a stimulating new challenge in the era of Artificial Intelligence! To be continued!
