Description

OBJECTIVE

This event will discuss some of the challenges faced by industrial projects in terms of its Procurement risks and bring examples of the responses given by the industry to the added complications of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

DESCRIPTION

The challenges of implementing industrial projects are many, and very likely, success or failure in delivering the project can be intimately related to how Procurement related risks are managed.

Anderson has extensive experience in business management of global companies with presence in Brazil and in the execution of projects for various segments of the construction industry, with his experience focused on the sectors of mining & metals, oil & gas and chemical. Developed projects for leading producers in these segments under various types of contractual agreements. Solid international experience, worked for three years in Australia and since the beginning of his career has maintained interface with peers and corporate leaders overseas. Recently, assumed the position of CEO at Actas a Brazilian based engineering company. Led Fluor's operations in Brazil, when he was responsible for consolidating the company's presence in the country and delivering within the company's global standards. Recently, assumed the position of CEO at Actas a Brazilian based engineering company.
