PMI-Montreal’s Mentorship Program allows experienced project managers to impart their knowledge to the next generation and for mentees to accelerate their learning curve, discover new solutions to unique problems and be exposed to different methods and new perspectives. The program contributes to the advancement of project management by focusing on shared knowledge and creative thinking.
Members of PMI-Montreal interested in participating in the Mentorship Program are encouraged to submit their application online. Information supplied in you application will be used by the selection committee to pair you accordingly. The selection of participants is based on order of registration, demand and availability. The pairing is done according to preferences stated in your application. To encourage the evolution of the mentorship relationship, PMI-Montreal ensures a continuous follow-up with monthly progress reports and documents on appropriate themes. Meetings will be organised so that participants can exchange their experiences and propose changes to the program.
Participants are asked to forward their registration by the beginning of September. The pairing will be done by the end of September in preparation for the first meeting. Members who are already certified PMPs may accumulate PDUs according to category C (mentees) and category F (mentors).
