In 2004, three PMI-Montreal Communities of Practices were created: Management and Construction, Project Management Office, and Planning. The IT Round Table Breakfasts were created in 2006.
The communities of practices’ mission is to share and discuss the best practices, the latest approaches in project management, and encourage networking among members working in different industries.
Community of Practice groups present conferences and/or workshops on various subjects: exchanging case study experiences, research presentations, project management tools, etc. Each conference introduces discoveries in project management methodologies and practices, which in turn deliver knowledge and process improvement opportunities for all members and participants.
